Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho | Full-Time | Part 91 | Approximately 200-250 Flight Hours per Year

Pinnacle Aviation is seeking an experienced Falcon 2000LX Senior Captain to lead the operation of a privately owned aircraft. This is a full-time, Part 91 position for a pilot who combines strong aircraft knowledge and sound judgment with leadership, professionalism, discretion, and excellent passenger service.

The aircraft is based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, for approximately nine months of the year and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, for the remaining three months. Most trips are planned well in advance, and short-notice trips generally provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Candidates may reside in Las Vegas, Phoenix, qualifying California locations, or another approved location providing comparable access to the aircraft.

Position Overview

  • Serve as Senior Captain and Pilot in Command of the Falcon 2000LX.
  • Fly approximately 200 to 250 hours annually in a Part 91 operation supporting a private family and their invited guests. 
  • Provide leadership, professional direction, and operational consistency for the assigned flight crew. 
  • Plan and conduct domestic and international flights safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations, company procedures, and sound operating judgment. 
  • Coordinate proactively with the other crewmember, Pinnacle Aviation’s operations and maintenance teams, and other flight-support personnel. 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the aircraft remains clean, organized, secure, visually maintained, and passenger-ready. 
  • Monitor the aircraft’s day-to-day condition, coordinate cleaning and detailing, and communicate discrepancies or service needs promptly. 
  • Provide attentive, discreet service and represent Pinnacle Aviation professionally during every passenger interaction. 
  • Participate in Pinnacle Aviation’s Safety Management System and support a culture of open communication and continuous improvement. 

Required Qualifications

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate. 
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate. 
  • Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time. 
  • Minimum 3,000 hours in jet aircraft. 
  • At least 1,000 hours in the Falcon 2000 series; or at least 1,000 hours in a comparable large-cabin or larger aircraft, together with substantial international operating experience outside Canada and Mexico. 
  • International experience in regions such as South America, Europe, Asia, or the Middle East. 
  • Ability to hold the appropriate Falcon 2000LX type rating and meet all company, regulatory, training, currency, and insurance requirements before assignment as Pilot in Command. 
  • Ability to support the aircraft’s seasonal operation in both Lake Havasu City and Coeur d’Alene and meet the account’s established reporting requirements. 
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction. 
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Falcon 2000LX type rating. 
  • Current and proficient in the Falcon 2000LX. 
  • Meaningful Pilot in Command experience in the Falcon 2000 series or a comparable large-cabin aircraft. 
  • Previous lead-captain or aircraft account leadership experience. 
  • Strong Part 91 corporate aviation experience supporting a private owner or family. 
  • Recent international and oceanic operating experience.
